Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on finur.io and app.finur.io, by category, and how you can change your preferences at any time.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser at a website's request. We also use the browser's local storage (localStorage) for preferences. Below, "duration" means how long the information stays on your device.

2. Strictly necessary (no consent required)

Without these, the site and app don't work properly. We describe them by purpose, with how long they stay on your device:

  • Theme preference (local storage + cookie, 1 year): remembers your chosen light or dark theme.
  • Cookie preferences (local storage + cookie, 1 year): remembers your choices from this panel.
  • Authentication session (session cookie, app only): keeps you securely signed in to app.finur.io.
  • Language preference (cookie, 1 year): remembers the language the site is shown in.

3. Analytics

We use a cookieless analytics solution with no personal identifiers, hosted in the European Union. It stores nothing on your device and does not track you across sites, which is why it requires no consent.

If we ever introduce cookie-based analytics, it will only activate with your explicit consent, via the preferences banner.

4. Marketing

We currently use no marketing or advertising tracking cookies. The category exists in the preferences panel for transparency and will only activate with your consent.

5. Changing your preferences

Use the "Manage preferences" button on this page (or in the consent banner) to open the preferences panel. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings at any time.
